About Sal Vega

In the 982nd year of the 2nd millennia, in the early am hours in Orange California, Salvador Vega came into this world.  Life in the 80's were a good time for the Vega Family with the family growing up in a village like environment with grandmother and aunt and her family. This atmosphere would shape the man that Sal has become.

Elementary school, middle school, and high school allowed Sal to expand his imagination having fun with school plays and participating in organized sports, like baseball, basketball, and hockey. With High school came his exposure to the photography program coupled with the dramatic arts program that set the stage for Sal wanting a career in entertainment. He even formed a short lived production house with high school friends called Explosive Entertainment.

After graduating high school, Sal attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara California. There he found his network of friends and that he had a natural knack for working in the camera department. At Brooks, Sal was able to produce his own projects that were both entertaining, fun, and educational. From Sal's exposure to the legendary camera rental house, Panavision, Sal was able to to learn the ins and outs of various camera systems and began working in the entertainment industry very quickly after graduation.

Sal currently works on a wide range of projects, from nationally televised commercials and network programing, to independent and well regarded feature films. Working as a cameraman has allowed Sal to travel the world, exploring many parts of the United States and working in countries like Ethiopia on the African continent, the United Kingdom and as far as Australia.
